How should I interpret these reports?
Donor retention
Compare donors across periods using gifts received. Pledges are commitments and soft credits refer to gifts already recorded, so both are kept separate from money received.
Appeal and campaign results
Group gifts by campaign, fund and appeal, and compare what each raised against its financial goal and cost.
Events and volunteering
Compare invitations with attendance, and volunteer hours with giving, for the same constituents.
How do I connect Little Green Light?

You need access to the LGL API settings in your Little Green Light account.

  1. Open Apps in Filament and add Little Green Light.
  2. In Little Green Light, go to Settings → Integration settings → LGL API and copy your API key.
  3. Paste the API key into Filament.
  4. Choose whether to encrypt personal information, add context about your data and start the sync.
How often does Little Green Light data refresh?

Changed constituents, gifts, contact reports and volunteer time are fetched every six hours. Every record is re-read once a day, so edits and removals are reflected. Everything else is re-read on every sync.

Why does the first sync take a while?

LGL allows 300 API calls every five minutes. Large accounts pause between batches of calls to stay within that limit.

Are archived or deleted constituents kept?

No. The LGL API only returns active constituents, so archived or deleted records are removed on the next daily re-read. Their gifts remain but are no longer linked to a constituent.

Can I encrypt personal information?

Yes. Choose to encrypt personal information when you connect. Names and contact details are hashed, so you can't group constituents by phone number or address.

Which Little Green Light KPIs can I track?

Gifts received: the total received amount for gifts and other income, excluding pledges and soft credits. Donor retention: prior-period donors who give again divided by all prior-period donors. Pledge fulfilment: pledge payments received divided by the amount pledged.

Will Filament change my Little Green Light data?

No. Filament only reads through the LGL API.
