Every message you send to Filly uses one AI credit. Your account includes 250 credits a month, which is plenty for most teams. If you need more, you can top up at any time.
What Uses Credits
Each message you send to Filly in a chat uses one credit, whether you’re asking a question, building a dashboard or editing a chart. Filly’s replies, and any work it does to answer you, are included.
These don’t use credits:
- Viewing, filtering and sharing dashboards
- Exporting reports
- Syncing your apps
- Asking questions through the MCP server from Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant
Your Monthly Allowance
Your 250 credits reset on the first of each month (Sydney time). Unused monthly credits don’t carry over.
When you get close to the end of your allowance, a small icon appears beside the send button in the chat. Click it to see roughly how many messages you have left.
For now, Filly keeps answering after your allowance runs out. We’ll let you know before that changes.
Topping Up
Top-ups add 250 credits for $75 USD, or A$100 if you’re billed in Australian dollars.
- Go to Account and find AI credits in the billing section.
- Click Buy 250 credits and complete checkout.
- Your credits appear a moment after payment.
Only admins and owners can top up. If you’re a member, ask an admin on your team.
Credits you buy never expire. Filly uses your monthly allowance first, then draws on your bought credits, so a top-up you don’t need this month is still there next month.
Agencies and Client Accounts
An agency and all its client accounts share one allowance and one credit balance. Messages sent from any client account count towards the agency’s 250, and top-ups are bought from the agency’s own account.
